KANDAHAR- U.S. forces have been trying to re-open Pierre Mohammed School in the Taliban heartland of Kandahar since 2009. They faced near daily attacks this summer and a population reluctant to choose sides. Lt. Cory Donohoo and Lt. Christopher Kinzel of Alpha Co. 1-502nd Batt. explain the challenges of trying to win over the locals and whether the Afghans really want the school.
